SUMMARY:How Psychological Safety creates high-performing software teams –
  in Practice!
DESCRIPTION:Time: Thursday\, 4th September\, 16:30 – 18:00\nPlace: Alsio
n\, M301 (go to the main entrance and take a lift to the 3rd floor)\nSign-
 up: Sunday\, 31st August\, 23:59\n\nSandwiches will be served\, if you hav
e special dietary needs then you can order a chicken or vegetarian sandwic
h by sending an email to Krzysztof (krzys@mmmi.sdu.dk).\n\nDescription\nMa
ny talk about psychological safety and describe why it is important for we
ll-being\, but it can also create real value in software development. That
’s why we will take a closer look at how we can work with psychological
safety in teams\, combined with radical candor and trust\, to build teams
that deliver high-quality and valuable software.\n\nWe have therefore invi
ted Daniel Baker Kristen\, former Product Manager\, Scrum Master\, and cur
rent Scrum Master with more than 10 years of experience\, to give a presen
tation on how he has translated theory and knowledge into practice and cre
ated value for software products\, collaborating teams\, and colleagues. D
aniel has worked with many different types of teams across various platfor
ms\, technologies\, and companies.\nWhat they all have in common is the im
portance of a well-functioning team – and this largely comes down to the
 ir ability to collaborate\, communicate\, and\, not least\, the level of p
sychological safety present.\n\nThe evening will consist of theory with re
ferences\, examples\, and case work\, including examples of both high and
low psychological safety and the consequences of each. You will leave the
event with concrete tools and exercises that you can already put to use th
e very next morning at work or in your studies.
