SUMMARY:AI-Assisted Engineering Automation – Practical Examples and Demon
 strations
DESCRIPTION:Time: Thursday\, 25th June\, 16:30 – 18:00\nPlace: Alsion\, M
304-M307 (go to the main entrance and take lift to the 3rd floor\, head Ea
 st \;)\nSign-up: Sunday\, 21st June\, 23:59\n\nSandwiches will be served\,
if you have special dietary needs then you can order a chicken or vegetar
ian sandwich by sending an email to Krzysztof (krzys@mmmi.sdu.dk).\n\nDesc
ription\nThis talk presents three student projects developed in cooperatio
n with local industry\, illustrating practical uses of AI in engineering a
utomation. The projects cover AI-assisted generation of test specification
s from requirements\, extraction of structured data from PDF documentation
\, and automation of embedded user-panel testing using computer vision and
AI-supported interpretation of test cases.\nAcross the three cases\, AI i
s used as a supporting tool within human-in-the-loop workflows that emphas
ize validation\, traceability\, and robustness. The presentation will high
light practical lessons learned from applying AI in real engineering conte
xts and include demonstrations of selected project results.\n\nSpeakers &a
mp\; Projects\nAdriana Jaworska and Aleksandra Maria Kril are Bachelor stu
dents in Software Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark. Their
project with Danfoss Power Solutions explores AI-assisted generation of s
tructured test specifications from requirements.\nSvens Gotvoni is a Bache
lor student in Software Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark.
His project with Danfoss Climate Solutions includes AI-supported extracti
on of engineering data from PDF documentation.\nDaniel Ndangsa Nguh is a M
aster’s student in Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Souther
n Denmark. His project with BITZER Electronics focuses on automating embed
ded user-panel testing using computer vision and AI-supported test interpr
 etation.
