Description
This talk presents three student projects developed in cooperation with local industry, illustrating practical uses of AI in engineering automation. The projects cover AI-assisted generation of test specifications from requirements, extraction of structured data from PDF documentation, and automation of embedded user-panel testing using computer vision and AI-supported interpretation of test cases.
Across the three cases, AI is used as a supporting tool within human-in-the-loop workflows that emphasize validation, traceability, and robustness. The presentation will highlight practical lessons learned from applying AI in real engineering contexts and include demonstrations of selected project results.
Speakers & Projects
Adriana Jaworska and Aleksandra Maria Kril are Bachelor students in Software Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark. Their project with Danfoss Power Solutions explores AI-assisted generation of structured test specifications from requirements.
Svens Gotvoni is a Bachelor student in Software Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark. His project with Danfoss Climate Solutions includes AI-supported extraction of engineering data from PDF documentation.
Daniel Ndangsa Nguh is a Master’s student in Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Southern Denmark. His project with BITZER Electronics focuses on automating embedded user-panel testing using computer vision and AI-supported test interpretation.
